Mantras For Sustained Transformation & Attitude
Life Lessons Learned
& Inspirations from William Kingston & Steve Cohn
With everything you do in your life, simply say to yourself, how I do this task NOW is how I will go about everything else in my life. Therefore my attitude about one thing affects, and reflects, everything else in my life. So the better attitude I have today for doing whatever is in front of me today, builds for me the future attitude I will have for whatever and whomever enters into my life tomorrow.
Everything is the choice of my attitude. Knowledge and insight reflect how I should be, but my attitude reflects how I really am.
Transformation is not something to go after. It is a becoming, a way of being, that is not what I wish to be, but rather, what and who I am now. If I am seeking, I am still not transformed. For once transformed, I no longer seek, I only am.
Knowledge without insight is dry fact. Insight without knowledge is an intuition. The two reflect missing aspects of one another. Transformation is the merging from the two, the parent of the child, so to speak. That is how you know you have been transformed, the parent and the child have become one. If you are still confused, you know you have been enlightened when Heaven and Earth have become one. When all things seem as one you have reached Divine Transformation, mind, body, soul are unified.
If I see myself and not others, I am trapped within my own self. If I see only the wants of others, I am trapped in their selves. If I go beyond the limits of knowledge and insight I can have the transformational understanding that they are me and I am them. Then there is no trap only personal and global liberation.
Each work one does produces a world unto itself. My transformation is to see that what I do goes beyond myself, far beyond myself. My limitation is to know only my effort in the cause. My frustration is giving into the false insight that it’s only about me.
Every pebble dropped into a pond creates a ripple that effects the entire pond in some way. Every word and feeling I have dropped into the psyche of the world or those around me, creates an effect of good or evil. If I am my word I transform the/their world for the good or bad. The choice is mine.
Being the transformation of that which I seek means I no longer have to seek it, for it is me and I It.
Transformation changes no one but the self, but the self, which is connected to everyone, changes everything. This is not a riddle, this is how Divine Science works.
Life is not a series of challenges and obstacles. Life is a sequence of ordered events to help me break the cocoon of my knowledge, so that I may use the insights of my experiences, to become that which I sought to be. This can be effortless or filled with effort by the way the perspective of my attitude chooses to view it.
Perspective and experience can lead to a transformation. Transformation does not give perspective and experience. It is cause from it. Therefore, my choice and attitude towards my experience will yield the possible perspective to achieve, or have, a sustained transformation experience.
Attitude is what solves a problem, not money. The wrong attitude, even with money, will eventually yield you the same problem.
Structure your attitude and it will yield a structure that will allow your attitude to resolve problems in a transformational way as opposed to just solving them.
Transformational resolution connects all involved in the issue. This is what one should seek. The mind and the soul become one as do Heaven and Earth. Transformation goes beyond the self as it seeks to repair the entire world. Remember the pebble in the pond. Any issue goes beyond itself and touches more things than one can know. Therefore, remember, what you do “echos throughout eternity.”
Transformation is not so much about attaining more or even understanding deeper the knowledge or insights that we have. Transformation is about letting go and letting G-d. It’s about merging with the Image we were created in.
Only in the challenges before us do we see what we truly are. If you say to all you are kind, it will be when you don’t feel kind that will define the internal soul part of you.
Attitude is about saying what you believe and believing what you say. When the pressures on it is only your true attitude that drives the closed sense of self away. To transform into your higher self, be at one with your word until what you believe and say about yourself become one.
Those who oscillate between love and hate of others, tear not only those peoples soul, but the fabric of ones own soul. To threaten someone on the physical level and then not cause them harm does not mean that you did not harm them internally. For words and energy go beyond ourselves and do more than we know.
Your doing only reflects your attitude of who you be. Change doesn’t require more information, it requires a deeper perspective. Knowledge and insight are a way that you can be or can choose not to be. Transformation is a thing you’ve became that is beyond your choice of being. Once you change you change, liken this to one who is standing by the side of a pool of water and one who jumps in.
Complete transformation happens internally and externally, in mind and body, in soul and thought. It’s not only that the caterpillar transforms into a butterfly, BUT THAT IT KNOWS THAT IT IS A BUTTERFLY AND NEVER WANTS TO BE A CATERPILLAR AGAIN!
Fear is the ultimate demon to stop any transformation. Many great works began with a single persons vision and many great works are UNKNOWN because those people let their fear based attitude impede their transformation. Life was about overcoming fear, succumbing to fear, avoiding fear, not transforming life.
Approval of others has NOTHING to do with transformation. Think of the approval Moses, Jesus, Buddha got when they first started. Most people simply said, “Who the hell are they and what are they talking about?” Their greatness wasn’t just their message. Their greatness was their attitude that their belief would transform the world!
How I do the tasks in front of me today, reflects how I will do what will come in front of me tomorrow. Therefore, all I have is the now, which I built from how I did what I did yesterday, and in essence, how I will do what I will need to do tomorrow.
You can’t transform with fear of the unknown. Yet the known creates the fear you experience, if what you know restricts who you, and if what you know restricts who you are, you have let others define you and place their limitations upon your life. It is the bricks of their knowledge and insights that have built your prison. Break free from the “knowing and insights” of others and transform into the Divine by stepping into the unknown possibility of your own being by walking up your own path.
The greatest suffer the most. Be it the religious, the political or the humanitarian. Their virtues, as Hemingway said, make them great, and are their weaknesses. Yet they seek transformations not only for themselves but more so for others. Ignore their faults. Focus on the person. The myth is what’s unattainable and the trick evil uses to keep you believing you can’t achieve EXACTLY what they did.
If all you want to do is get the job done you have no personal stake in what you are doing and you are merely a robot. Having personal stake in something isn’t about the OTHER person, or company, it’s about YOU. It’s an opportunity to be part of something. You may be part of it for a day or a lifetime, but rest assured, your attitude will be with you for a lifetime.
The life worth living is the life of transformation into personal liberation and internal freedom and to share that with smile in the heart.
If you believe someone else holds the key to your transformation and future, study the history of those who moved the world. If you believe someone else holds the key to your happiness and satisfaction you leave your possibility in their hands. If you believe someone else holds a power to control you, then transformation and self awareness is not in your power. But when you believe greatness comes from within and internal power is an attitude of how you perceive things, then you become connected to a source that goes beyond the physical. In that essence, you become free.
Prisons holds the body, not the mind. Many men transformed in prison by learning to take responsibility for their attitudes and seeing their potential for sustained good was more valuable than evil deeds to acquire physical possessions and control another. This is the lesson of life that says, “learn things the simpler way.”
If you desire to be good, be good, but desire to be good, and do good, always and MOSTLY when times are most challenging. That will tell you about the person you are and it will tell you if your desire is an insight that you may do or a transformation that will NOT let you behave poorly.
Many people of high potential project blame and anger in great amounts to deal with issues. That same energy, if properly transformed, could yield the solution to the issue they face, not only by being more productive, but by bringing in a higher consciousness of people to assist with the issue at hand. Anger and blame solve nothing and only create the opposite effect that one goes after.
What you say you are will be revealed with things get tough. When things get tough what you say you are can be made real by placing your attitude within the words you say and seeing beyond yourself. Say it, be it, become it need not be just a saying! A tough bit of life can transform and unify your thoughts, words and actions into one, if your attitude is in alignment with what you project yourself to be and wish to become by BEING IT NOW!!!!!!!
Seeing through the lens of your highest self is not a challenge. IT’S A CHOICE!!!!!!
To sustain an attitude is to become unified with your thoughts, words and actions. To be transformed is to BE your thoughts, words and actions.
There is end to human being. Transformations are simply steps upon the spiritual path of unity, brotherhood and global love. To be transformed is but a step. Transforming others through your example of unbreakable excellence is the ultimate achievement and goal.
Life presents causes and effects based on the projections of our being. If we could “see” we are only vibrations, we would know when we are out of tune and we would know what it means to tune people out or in.
The loftiest transformation is something we allow to happen within ourselves. When we open up to the fact that we must stand unshakable for our beliefs and define ourselves, we allow the transformation we seek for others in ourselves.
Life is not, it is. It is what? What it is. What is it? Life. (say this ten times!)
There is no life without challenges, life may not be a game, but it is called the human RACE.
